Fundraising for smiles

We had some great end of year fundraising from some of our Student Programmes volunteers. Here are some of the highlights.

Emer's fundraising story

Emer O’Doherty, a Transition Year student from Gorey, has fundraised for Operation Smile all year long, raising over €6,000 to provide surgeries for children born with cleft lip and cleft palate. We caught up with her to find out why she chose Operation Smile, and what’s motivated her to keep fundraising

As little as 45 minutes to change a life

Operation Smile South Africa launched Operation 45, an initiative that provided life-changing care to 9-month-old Alexzander and 11-month-old Ofentse and featured their surgeries during the Soweto Derby.
